- • As an Associate Director in Healthcare Consulting focused on Financial Transformation (Front-End/Patient Access), you will lead high-impact performance improvement engagements for major healthcare systems, academic medical centers, and large physician enterprises, driving measurable financial and operational outcomes through deep expertise in scheduling, access, and registration processes.
- • You will independently manage end-to-end consulting projects, including developing Statements of Work, crafting project plans, presenting to client executives, and facilitating change across multidisciplinary teams, while serving as a trusted advisor to senior healthcare leaders on revenue cycle optimization and transformation initiatives.
- • You will join Guidehouse’s Healthcare Financial Transformation practice, a trusted advisor to leading healthcare organizations, where you will collaborate with cross-functional consultants to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that improve financial performance, enhance patient access, and strengthen operational resilience across the care continuum.
- • In this role, you will develop strategic leadership capabilities by mentoring junior staff, shaping industry alliances, identifying emerging trends in healthcare finance, and building long-term account management relationships that position you as a thought leader in healthcare revenue cycle transformation.
- • Deliver industry expertise and management consulting services in support of client engagements across large providers (hospitals, health systems, AMCs, large physician groups, clinics, outpatient facilities, etc.)
- • Lead transformational change focused on financial improvement of multiple large healthcare systems, own project, not component or workstream
- • Clearly articulates financial results of multiple projects and speaks about process and sub-process measures for more than one area
- • Establishes account management relationships with key client decision makers
- • Identifies key industry issues and develops a practice response
- • Assists in the development of industry alliances and relationships within vertical markets
- • Provides delivery assurance support for engagements with targeted clients
- • Mentors Guidehouse staff on assignments within the account delivering services
- • Provides visible leadership within the account and the practice.
- • Leads consulting projects Statements of Work, Project Plans, Writes Proposals, Presents to Client Executive; Facilitates, Advises and Persuades key decision makers and influencers
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- • 8+ years of recent experience in a large healthcare provider setting focused on performance improvement, labor and non-labor optimization, clinical operations, and revenue cycle management, with significant experience at the management level
- • 5+ years delivering complex, multi-faceted, multi-site consulting or consulting-like programs with annual budgets exceeding $10 million and managing teams of 30+ resources
- • Excellent financial acumen and proven stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage C-suite executives, clinicians, and operational leaders
- • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to support client engagements nationwide
