📋 Description
- • As the Associate Director, Market Access and Value Evidence Strategy at Illumina, you will play a pivotal role in expanding access to genomic technologies that drive health equity and transform patient outcomes worldwide.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting US and global market access strategies, partnering with regional teams to secure reimbursement, collaborating with Government Affairs, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams to shape value narratives, and leading the creation of payer-agnostic and payer-specific market access strategies for key Illumina applications.
- • You will work within a mission-driven organization at the forefront of genomics innovation, surrounded by extraordinary people and world-changing projects focused on early disease detection, diagnosis, and new treatment options.
- • This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in molecular diagnostics, health economics, and global reimbursement systems while influencing product development, launch planning, and lifecycle management to align with commercialization and access goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (GC, MBA, MPH, PhD, or related) preferred.
- • 15+ years of experience with 7+ years in management within clinical settings, market access, reimbursement, or health economics, with a strong focus on molecular diagnostics.
- • Proven success in developing and executing market access strategies in diagnostics, biopharma, or payer environments.
- • Demonstrated understanding of reimbursement systems, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes, and payer decision-making across major global markets.
- • Hands-on experience with molecular diagnostics, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and precision medicine applications.
- • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
