• • The Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison – Women’s Health, US at Viatris Inc. is a field-based role responsible for delivering scientifically accurate, non-promotional medical information to healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and external stakeholders in the women’s health therapeutic area. This role supports Viatris’ mission to empower healthier lives by ensuring credible, evidence-based communication about its medicines and disease states, maintaining independence from commercial influences to uphold Medical Affairs’ credibility.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders through compliant, non-promotional scientific exchanges; developing and executing stakeholder engagement plans; documenting interactions in VEEVA; responding to unsolicited medical requests; gathering and communicating insights to inform medical strategy; creating innovative educational materials; training internal teams on products and disease states using approved materials; attending congresses; and submitting monthly activity reports, expense reports, and PTO requests.
• • The role operates within Viatris Specialty LLC, a global healthcare company that bridges generics and brands to deliver high-quality medicines to approximately 1 billion patients annually. The Medical Affairs team functions as an independent source of clinical, healthcare economic, and medical information, with core responsibilities spanning strategy and insight generation, organizational support, stakeholder engagement, evidence generation and dissemination, and professional development.
• • The Associate Director will develop deep expertise in women’s health therapeutics, refine strategic leadership and analytical skills, gain experience in cross-functional collaboration with medical and commercial teams, and contribute to the advancement of Viatris’ medical strategy through insight generation and innovative educational initiatives, all while operating with a high degree of autonomy under the guidance of the US Women’s Health MSL Team Lead.
