  • • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director, Medical Strategy to join our dynamic and growing team.   • • As an Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of projects and ensuring seamless alignment across client accounts. This position offers the opportunity to specialize and excel in content development, team leadership, and strategic thinking, contributing significantly to our clients' success and our agency's growth.
  • • This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with the option to be based in any of our US offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco, or to work remotely within the United States, depending on team and business needs.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Therapy Area and Scientific Expertise: Provide expert guidance and leadership to teams, contributing through effective delegation and collaboration to co-create exceptional medical content across diverse therapy areas. Ensure all outputs consistently meet and exceed client expectations for scientific accuracy, strategic relevance, and creative execution.
  • • Strategic Thinking and Account Planning: Deliver insightful strategic guidance and contribute significantly to account planning processes. Engage constructively and collaboratively with clients to deeply understand their objectives, build upon their ideas, and offer valuable alternative perspectives that drive innovation and achieve strategic goals.
  • • Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong, long-term partnerships. Work closely with senior team members to nurture and expand these relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration.
  • • Team Management and Guidance: Lead and mentor teams to work competently, confidently, and efficiently, even in high-pressure situations. Oversee the effective delegation of work across multiple accounts, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all project components.
  • • Business Development: Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts. Develop a keen understanding of client interests and those of their cross-functional stakeholders, working collaboratively with key strategic contacts to leverage these insights and drive new business.
  • • Strategic Leadership and Execution: Lead, shape, and execute comprehensive strategies for assigned accounts in close collaboration with medical writing and client service teams. Leverage and further develop your Medical Strategist skills to build impactful, data-driven strategies.
  • • Client Partnership Development: Cultivate peer-to-peer relationships with key client stakeholders to enhance the overall Real Chemistry partnership, fostering mutual trust and strategic alignment.
  • • Strategic Process Involvement: Actively participate in all key aspects of the strategy development process, from initial research and in-depth analysis to insight generation and the creation of compelling creative briefs.
  • • Critical Thinking and Facilitation: Develop and refine product and portfolio strategies that align with client objectives and market dynamics. Confidently facilitate internal cross-company/function meetings and client meetings or workshops, ensuring productive discussions and clear outcomes.
