- • The Associate Director of Operational Procurement ensures efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, managing the procure-to-pay process, raw material planning, and source-to-contract activities to support company operations and compliance.
- • Day to day, the role involves developing procurement processes, leading and mentoring the procurement team, analyzing inventory and forecasting needs, coordinating with cross-functional partners, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with QMS and regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in procurement strategies.
- • Penumbrainc Inc. is a medical device company focused on innovative therapies, operating in a regulated industry where procurement integrity directly impacts product quality, supply chain resilience, and patient safety.
- • In this role, the individual will develop leadership expertise in strategic procurement, gain deep experience in ERP-driven supply chain systems (SAP MM), influence cross-functional decision-making, and advance their ability to manage complex, regulated procurement environments while driving operational excellence and risk mitigation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field with 10+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, and 6+ years of direct management experience
- • Experience with SAP Materials Management solutions
- • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
- • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- • Ability to process data, analyze information, think critically, identify cause-and-effect relationships, solve complex problems
- • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
