📋 Description

  • Directive Consulting is a leading performance marketing agency dedicated to empowering SaaS and tech companies to achieve unparalleled growth. We are pioneers in the Customer Generation methodology, a strategic framework that shifts the focus from traditional marketing qualified leads (MQLs) to tangible business outcomes like sales qualified leads (SQLs) and actual customers. Our holistic approach encompasses a comprehensive suite of services, including cutting-edge Paid Media, strategic SEO, innovative Performance Creative and Design, engaging Video production, robust Revenue Operations, and insightful Strategy development. Every service is meticulously crafted to ensure our clients consistently meet and exceed their SQL targets, driving sustainable revenue and market leadership.
  • As we continue to expand our dynamic team, we are actively seeking forward-thinking individuals who embody a growth mindset and are passionate about shaping the future of digital marketing. This Associate Director, Paid Search & Social role represents a significant opportunity to join a company that values innovation, analytical prowess, and compelling storytelling. If you are driven by data, inspired by the potential of B2B tech and SaaS marketing, and eager to make a substantial impact, we encourage you to explore this exciting future opening.
  • The Associate Director position is pivotal to Directive's success, holding direct responsibility for both client satisfaction and employee retention. Your performance will have a direct and measurable impact on the company's Profit and Loss (P&L), underscoring the critical nature of this leadership role. You will be instrumental in cultivating strong client relationships, fostering a high-performing team environment, and ensuring the strategic execution of campaigns that deliver exceptional results.
  • **Key Responsibilities and Strategic Imperatives:**
  • **Client Goal Setting and Strategic Alignment:** You will be directly accountable for defining and setting ambitious yet achievable goals for every client engagement within your assigned pod. This involves a deep understanding of each client's unique business objectives, market position, and growth aspirations, translating these into actionable, data-driven strategies.
  • **Upholding and Championing Best Practices:** A core tenet of this role is ensuring that all client strategies adhere to Directive's established best practices across all marketing channels. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • **LTV:CAC Modeling:** Implementing and optimizing strategies that maximize Lifetime Value (LTV) while minimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.
  • **Customer Generation Focus:** Driving campaigns and initiatives that directly contribute to acquiring valuable customers, aligning with our core Customer Generation methodology.
  • **Share of SERP Dominance:** Developing and executing strategies to increase our clients' visibility and authority across Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs), capturing valuable organic and paid search traffic.
  • **Functional Content Development:** Overseeing the creation and deployment of content that is not only engaging but also highly functional, serving specific user needs and driving conversions throughout the customer journey.
  • **Breaking Down Strategic Barriers and Facilitating Approvals:** Recognizing that campaign success often hinges on timely approvals, you will proactively identify and address potential roadblocks. This involves working closely with your strategists to understand approval processes, anticipate challenges, and develop robust action plans to secure necessary 'yeses' and keep campaigns moving forward efficiently.
  • **Empowering Leadership and Team Development:** We seek leaders, not mere managers. You will be responsible for building a structured, supportive, and high-performing team environment. This includes establishing clear communication cadences, proactively offering support, and empowering your strategists through clear expectation setting and consistent feedback. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and shared success.
  • **Performance Monitoring and Optimization:** Continuously monitor campaign performance against key metrics, identifying areas for optimization and implementing data-backed adjustments to ensure maximum ROI for clients. This involves a deep dive into analytics, A/B testing, and strategic reallocation of budget.
  • **Client Communication and Relationship Management:** Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building trust and rapport through transparent communication, strategic insights, and consistent delivery of results. Proactively manage client expectations and provide strategic guidance to ensure long-term partnership success.
  • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with other internal teams, such as SEO, Creative, and Revenue Operations, to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing strategies that leverage the full spectrum of Directive's capabilities.
  • **Mentorship and Skill Development:** Actively mentor and guide your team members, fostering their professional growth and developing their expertise in paid search and social media marketing. Identify training needs and provide opportunities for skill enhancement.
  • **Contribution to Agency Growth:** Contribute to the overall growth and development of Directive Consulting by sharing insights, participating in new business pitches, and identifying opportunities for service innovation.
  • This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in paid media management, a passion for analytics, and a desire to lead and inspire a team. If you are ready to take on a leadership position with significant impact and contribute to the success of a rapidly growing agency, we invite you to connect with us.

🎯 Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, understand business objectives, and translate them into effective paid media strategies that drive measurable results (SQLs, customer acquisition).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, derive actionable insights, and present findings clearly and concisely to both internal teams and clients.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Deep understanding of key performance marketing concepts, including LTV:CAC modeling, customer generation principles, and funnel optimization.

🏖️ Benefits
