đź“‹ Description
- • As an Associate Director, Paid Search & Social at Directive Consulting, you will be at the forefront of driving exceptional performance for our B2B tech and SaaS clients. This pivotal role places you in direct control of client success and retention, acting as a strategic leader who not only guides campaigns but also cultivates the growth and development of your team. You are the linchpin of your assigned client pod, directly impacting their business outcomes and contributing significantly to the company's P&L. Your leadership is crucial in setting the vision, ensuring adherence to cutting-edge methodologies, and proactively removing obstacles that stand between our clients and their ambitious goals.
- • Your primary responsibility is to set clear, measurable, and ambitious goals for every client engagement within your pod. This involves a deep understanding of each client's unique business objectives, market position, and growth aspirations. You will translate these into actionable strategies that align with Directive's core philosophy of Customer Generation, focusing on delivering tangible results like SQLs and actual customers, rather than vanity metrics.
- • Upholding and championing Directive's best practices across all paid media channels is paramount. This includes a rigorous application of LTV:CAC modeling to ensure sustainable growth, a steadfast commitment to the Customer Generation methodology, maximizing Share of SERP to dominate search visibility, and developing Functional Content that resonates with target audiences and drives conversions. You will be the guardian of these principles, ensuring they are not just understood but expertly implemented by your team.
- • A critical aspect of your role is to 'Breakdown Barriers.' In the fast-paced world of digital marketing, approvals and internal processes can often be bottlenecks. You are empowered and expected to identify these potential roadblocks early, working collaboratively with your strategists to develop proactive plans to overcome them. This means fostering an environment where challenges are discussed openly in 1x1s, and concrete action plans are established to ensure the smooth and successful execution of client strategies.
- • Directive seeks leaders, not just managers. You will be instrumental in building a high-performing, motivated, and empowered team. This involves creating a clear and consistent structure, establishing a regular cadence for communication and feedback, providing proactive support, and empowering your strategists through clear, concise communication and well-defined expectations. Your leadership style should foster autonomy, encourage innovation, and drive accountability.
- • You will be directly accountable for achieving key performance indicators for your pod, including 100% Net Sales Marketing (NSM) attainment, maintaining a Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score of 4.2 or higher, and contributing to $150k in bookings for each half of the year. These goals underscore the direct impact you will have on both client success and Directive's financial health.
- • This role offers the unique opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office anywhere in the US. You will leverage virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom and Slack to connect with colleagues and clients. Proficiency in managing campaigns through various computer software platforms and office productivity tools is essential. The nature of this role requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods, keen observation and interpretation of written and verbal communication, reliable internet access, and the maintenance of a professional remote work environment.
- • By joining Directive, you become part of a forward-thinking agency dedicated to revolutionizing performance marketing for SaaS and tech companies. You'll contribute to a culture that values analytics, storytelling, and a relentless pursuit of results, making a significant impact in the B2B tech landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in paid search and paid social media strategy and execution, with a strong understanding of B2B tech/SaaS marketing.
- • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals.
- • Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics, LTV:CAC modeling, and customer generation methodologies.
- • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships and internal stakeholder expectations.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive annual base salary range of $100,000 - $135,000 USD, with potential for bonus eligibility.
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, with a 100% employer-paid option for employees and a 50% contribution for dependents.
- • Robust mental and physical wellness support, including access to certified therapists via Spring Health, Headspace membership, and a Gympass membership.
- • Generous time off policies, including Unlimited PTO (with a 2-week minimum), paid company holidays, your birthday off, an End of Year Recharge period (December 24 - January 1), and paid parental leave.
