📋 Description
- • The Associate Director – Payer & Provider Strategy – Healthcare role at BRG Communications LLC is a senior leadership position within the Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) practice, responsible for driving strategic engagements that help healthcare providers, payers, and investors navigate complex operational, financial, and clinical challenges. This role is critical to BRG’s mission of delivering end-to-end advisory support that enables clients to build resilient, future-ready healthcare enterprises through strategic growth design, operating model transformation, AI and digital enablement, and revenue strategy optimization.
- • The person will lead day-to-day execution of complex strategic engagements including enterprise strategy, service line planning, M&A strategy, and growth initiatives; serve as the primary client contact for C-suite and executive stakeholders; translate ambiguous client problems into structured hypotheses and actionable workplans; oversee development of financial models, market analyses, and strategic recommendations; mentor and manage junior team members (Senior Associates and Associates); support business development through proposal writing, RFP responses, and thought leadership; and integrate AI, data, and digital capabilities into strategic solutions while ensuring high-quality, data-driven insights are delivered with executive-level storytelling.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in healthcare strategy, financial modeling, market sizing, and AI/digital enablement while developing leadership and business development skills. They will have the opportunity to shape repeatable methodologies, contribute to thought leadership, and influence senior-level decision-making across health systems, payers, and emerging healthcare platforms—positioning them for advancement into director-level or practice leadership roles within BRG’s growing IHS practice.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- • 6–10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, or health system operations
- • Demonstrated experience leading strategic engagements (e.g., growth strategy, service line planning, transformation) and working with executive stakeholders
- • Strong strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, financial modeling, market sizing, and ROI analysis capabilities
- • Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics (providers, payers, regulatory environment) and familiarity with data analytics, digital health, and/or AI-enabled solutions preferred
- • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple workstreams, and communicate effectively at senior levels
