- • Own and define the US insights strategy and learning agenda for the rheumatology portfolio, proactively identifying key business questions to guide commercial decision-making.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams including commercial, medical, analytics, and market access to align on market intelligence needs and deliver integrated insights that shape market development and go-to-market strategies.
- • Translate complex business questions into structured research plans utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, ensuring methodological rigor across primary and secondary research activities.
- • Synthesize insights from diverse data sources—including market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, and field feedback—to create unified, actionable market narratives that drive strategic outcomes.
- • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions on positioning, pricing, launch planning, and commercial execution within the rheumatology portfolio.
- • Drive alignment between US and global stakeholders to ensure consistent insights translation and strategic coherence across regions.
- • Lead innovation in insights generation by exploring new methodologies, tools, and data sources to enhance the speed, depth, and impact of commercial intelligence.
- • Continuously improve processes for how insights are generated, synthesized, and applied to commercial strategy, elevating the function’s role within the organization.
- • Manage vendor partnerships with a focus on quality, innovation, and value creation, ensuring optimal use of external research and data providers.
- • Partner with Finance and the Director of Commercial Insights to manage the department budget, including vendor contracts, spend forecasting, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- • Travel up to 20% of the time to support field engagement, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional collaboration.
- • Communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively through oral and written presentations to diverse audiences, including executives and non-research stakeholders.
- • Leverage deep expertise in pharmaceutical and biotech market research to deliver insights specific to rare diseases and rheumatology, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.
- • Contribute to an innovative, fast-paced culture that values scientific rigor, agility, and a mission-driven commitment to improving lives of patients with autoimmune diseases.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare market insights or relevant commercial functions
- • Demonstrated expertise conducting primary market research, preferably in rare disease
- • Expertise in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies
- • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic decisions in a matrixed environment
- • BA or BS; advanced degree preferred
- • Familiarity with leading pharma industry commercial vendors and data sources

- • Annual base salary range of $168,000.00 – $231,000.00 USD
