  • • As an Associate Director, Value Assessment - Vaccines, you will play a pivotal role in driving the value-based care transformation within the US healthcare system. This strategic position is crucial for engaging with evolving risk-bearing organizations and demonstrating the profound economic and clinical value of Sanofi's vaccine portfolio in a manner that resonates with customer objectives. You will be at the forefront of a significant shift in healthcare, contributing to a future where prevention and cost-effectiveness are paramount, ultimately impacting the lives of half a billion people annually through next-generation science, mRNA innovation, and AI-driven breakthroughs.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and highly strategic. You will establish and maintain robust, compliant relationships with C-suite decision-makers at risk-based organizations (RBOs), including Chief Medical Officers and Chief Financial Officers. A core function will be to deeply understand and articulate the economic value of Sanofi's vaccines, tailoring presentations to align with the specific economic and clinical priorities of each customer. This involves developing and continuously updating targeting and profiling strategies within your assigned geography, identifying RBOs with the highest potential for successful engagement by analyzing their business models, economic and clinical structures, and their place within the broader healthcare ecosystem. You will meticulously map key decision-makers and their influence within the RBOs, noting any intersections with other Sanofi customers or providers. Furthermore, you will proactively assess evolving payment structures and care delivery models to pinpoint optimal targets, anticipating market risks and trends, and developing strategic payer engagement tactics where relevant. Your role will also involve developing engagement strategies and tactics grounded in sound rationale, leveraging available data, cross-functional team intelligence, and external insights from experts and conferences. You will diligently follow up on engagement actions, share outcomes, and proactively communicate any information that could influence Sanofi Vaccines' strategy, while also reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). A significant part of your contribution will be to help adjust and refine the value proposition for different RBO types, shifting the conversation from product cost to comprehensive clinical and economic value, incorporating health economics analysis, budget impact models, reimbursement arguments, and clinical messaging. You will also contribute to reviewing RBO strategies and collecting vital customer insights to identify unmet needs.
  • • You will be an integral part of a new, dynamic team within Sanofi Vaccines, North America, dedicated to navigating the complex and rapidly evolving landscape of value-based payments and risk-based arrangements. This team is designed to seize the opportunity presented by the shift towards cost-effective care, engaging RBO customers to identify, deliver, and drive economic value across the healthcare system with Sanofi's innovative vaccine portfolio. Sanofi itself is an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving lives and achieving compelling growth. Our profound understanding of the immune system and our innovative pipeline empower us to develop medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions globally. We are united by a shared mission to chase the miracles of science and enhance people's lives.
  • • In this role, you will have unparalleled opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge in critical areas such as healthcare economics, reimbursement strategies, and the multifaceted value of vaccines. You will gain deep insights into the dynamics of risk-bearing organizations and the intricacies of value-based care models. By leading cross-functional relationships and collaborating with Account Management, Pricing & Contracting, Marketing, and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), you will develop a holistic understanding of customer needs and how Sanofi's offerings can best address them. You will also have the chance to adapt existing tools and develop new approaches focused on a health system perspective, differentiating Sanofi Vaccines through a proactive, customer-centric approach. This position offers the potential to significantly influence market access strategies and contribute to the success of Sanofi's vaccine portfolio, fostering professional growth and career advancement within a leading biopharmaceutical company.
  • • Your daily activities will involve strategic engagement with high-level decision-makers within risk-based organizations (RBOs), focusing on demonstrating the clinical and economic advantages of Sanofi's vaccine portfolio, particularly for RSV and Flu. This requires developing sophisticated targeting and profiling strategies for your assigned territory, identifying optimal RBOs by analyzing their business models, economic and clinical structures, and their interconnectedness within the healthcare ecosystem. You will map out decision-making processes and key influencers within these organizations. A critical aspect of your role will be to continuously assess alternative payment structures and care delivery models, anticipating market shifts and trends to identify the most appropriate targets and develop effective payer strategies. You will craft and implement engagement strategies, drawing upon data, cross-functional team insights, and external intelligence. Following up on these engagements, you will share outputs, proactively communicate strategic information, and report on key performance indicators. You will also contribute to refining the value proposition for various RBO types, ensuring it effectively communicates the clinical and economic benefits beyond mere product cost, utilizing health economics analysis, budget impact models, and reimbursement arguments. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Account Management, Pricing & Contracting, Marketing, and MSLs to ensure a cohesive approach to customer needs. You will also play a role in educating internal stakeholders through training initiatives. A key component of your work will involve implementing health economic and outcomes research to large, organized customers, adapting existing tools to a health system focus, and proactively detailing Sanofi Vaccines' comprehensive offering to create opportunities for differentiation. This includes identifying and addressing customer reimbursement and risk-bearing contract needs, and collaborating with Account Managers to align with customer expectations. Your ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to evaluate the health economics landscape and inform organizational strategy will be paramount, translating key learnings and insights into actionable outcomes.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to building and maintaining strong customer relationships, demonstrating executive presence in all interactions, and fostering collaboration across functional, geographic, and company boundaries to achieve mutual business objectives. You will be expected to continually focus on your own performance and development, as well as contribute to the talent development within the company. Strong analytical skills and decision-making expertise are essential for evaluating the health economics landscape and informing strategic decisions. Your capacity to analyze key learnings and convert them into tangible actions and outcomes will be a significant measure of success. An inclusive and diverse mindset is expected in talent development, promotion, and team dynamics, contributing to a positive and productive company culture. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable Sanofi policies, procedures, regulatory, and legal requirements, and assisting in monitoring compliance within cross-functional team interactions. A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are also necessary for this role, given the travel requirements.
