📋 Description

• As an Associate Financial Analyst on Tinuiti’s Client Finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of financial reporting across Enterprise and Foundation business units, directly enabling Delivery leaders and Portfolio CFOs to make informed, data-driven decisions that impact agency profitability and growth.
• You will support internal stakeholders by translating complex financial data into clear, concise summaries, explaining margin fluctuations, and documenting key drivers so finance leaders can quickly grasp insights and act with confidence.
• You will learn and adopt Tinuiti’s internal BI tools, reporting dashboards, and tracking playbooks to standardize financial reporting across the portfolio, building proficiency in established processes before identifying opportunities for improvement.
• You will extract, validate, and reconcile financial data from ERP and CRM systems (including Sage Intacct and Salesforce) to ensure data integrity for weekly forecasting, margin reviews, and audit readiness, promptly flagging discrepancies and escalating when necessary.
• You will partner with Delivery leaders to ensure staffing models reflect approved allocations and align with financial guardrails and SOPs, participating in recurring margin reviews to deepen your understanding of client economics and operational drivers.
• You will take ownership of assigned reports and trackers, investigating inconsistencies thoroughly, documenting findings clearly, and identifying repetitive manual processes to suggest improvements under manager guidance.
• You will maintain organized client folders, staffing trackers, and reporting files to ensure data is current, traceable, and audit-ready, delivering recurring reports on time with high accuracy in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• You will develop core financial acumen by mastering P&L statements, gross margin calculations, and basic accounting principles while building foundational financial models in Excel or Google Sheets to analyze how staffing, pricing, or cost changes impact profitability.
• You will analyze historical performance data to identify anomalies, trends, and correlations, transforming raw data into actionable reports that inform near-term decisions for Portfolio CFOs and support Tinuiti’s mission to eliminate waste and scale what works.

🎯 Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, operations, or other data-heavy roles (e.g., finance internships, data science bootcamps, or related coursework).
• Foundational understanding of P&L statements, gross margin, and basic accounting concepts, or demonstrated aptitude to learn these quickly.
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas, with strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured datasets.
• Experience cleaning and validating large datasets in a fast-paced environment (nice-to-have).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred) or CRM platforms like Salesforce (nice-to-have).
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI (nice-to-have).
