- • As an Associate, FP&A at Ramp, you will be a pivotal member of the Strategic Finance organization, instrumental in shaping and scaling the company's financial planning and analysis capabilities. This role is designed for an individual with a strong financial acumen and a proactive, builder's mindset, eager to automate, systematize, and construct robust financial operations. You will collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to meticulously measure financial performance, identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency, and directly influence how Ramp allocates and prioritizes its valuable time and resources. This is a high-impact position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the nation's fastest-growing, pre-IPO startups during a critical phase of building out its financial infrastructure.
- • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass owning the company’s consolidated financial model, which includes the crucial tasks of reporting on historical financial performance and forecasting future financial outcomes. You will be responsible for diligently managing Ramp’s performance against its established financial targets, proactively identifying strategies to meet or exceed these expectations, and implementing corrective actions when performance lags. A significant part of your role will involve facilitating the bi-annual budgeting and headcount planning cycles, providing essential guidance to steer Ramp effectively through its next growth phases. You will act as a key partner to business leaders throughout the company, assisting them in prioritizing critical focus areas, articulating clear and measurable business objectives, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- • Furthermore, you will be tasked with conducting ad-hoc financial analyses to provide critical support for strategic decision-making processes. This includes diving deep into complex financial questions and delivering actionable insights. A core component of this role is the development and maintenance of internal tools and applications designed to streamline FP&A workflows, significantly reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy across the entire finance organization. You will also leverage cutting-edge AI tools to rapidly prototype and deploy solutions that might otherwise require dedicated engineering resources, demonstrating an innovative approach to financial operations. This hands-on approach to building and improving processes is central to the role's impact.
- • The Strategic Finance team at Ramp is at the forefront of driving financial discipline and strategic resource allocation. We are a group of builders who are passionate about creating scalable and efficient financial systems. We operate in a fast-paced environment where data-driven insights are paramount to decision-making. Our team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, empowering individuals to take ownership and drive meaningful change. We believe in empowering our team members with the tools and autonomy needed to tackle complex challenges and deliver exceptional results.
- • This position offers an exceptional platform for professional growth and development. You will gain invaluable experience in building and scaling financial operations within a hyper-growth startup environment. The role provides exposure to high-level strategic decision-making and the opportunity to directly influence the financial trajectory of a rapidly expanding company. You will develop advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills, alongside a deep understanding of business operations. Furthermore, you will have the chance to learn and apply new technologies, including AI tools, to enhance financial processes, positioning you at the cutting edge of finance innovation. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact and accelerate their career in finance.
- • The company, Ramp, is revolutionizing the finance industry by building smart infrastructure embedded directly into the transaction flow of business spending. We automate the management of over $100 billion in annualized spend for more than 50,000 companies, handling everything from payment authorization and risk flagging to spend categorization and book closing.
