- ⢠As an Associate, Fund Administration Intern at Juniper Square, you will play a vital role in supporting the companyâs mission to modernize fund administration for private markets by ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and operational excellence in a fast-paced, values-driven environment.
- ⢠This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fund accounting while contributing to the digitization of private equity, venture capital, and real estate asset management â helping bridge the gap between traditional finance and innovative technology.
- ⢠You will perform core accounting and analytical reporting duties within a collaborative team setting, ensuring that client and investor deliverables such as financial statements, capital account reconciliations, and performance reports are prepared accurately and on schedule.
- ⢠You will assist in preparing fund financial statements and supporting schedules, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets, under the guidance of senior fund accountants to ensure compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
- ⢠You will actively participate in team discussions focused on identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements to fund accounting processes, leveraging your curiosity and analytical mindset to help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- ⢠You will reconcile reports from multiple internal and external systems (such as general ledgers, investor portals, and custodial platforms) to ensure data consistency, integrity, and audit readiness across all fund administration workflows.
- ⢠You will prepare detailed work papers and complete associated checklists for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, maintaining meticulous documentation to support internal controls and external audits.
- ⢠You will assist with the preparation of audit-related schedules and documentation for annual financial statement audits, gaining exposure to external audit procedures and regulatory expectations in the private markets space.
- ⢠You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and client services to understand how technology enhances fund administration, offering insight into how Juniper Squareâs platform automates and streamlines traditional fund accounting tasks.

- ⢠Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a Bachelorâs degree program in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics with a strong academic foundation in financial accounting.
- ⢠Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in accounting or fund administration, with a passion for financial markets and a desire to leverage technology to improve business operations.
- ⢠Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a deadline-oriented mindset in team-based environments.
