- • The Associate Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Marketing and Shared Services leads enterprise-wide procurement initiatives to maximize value and impact for College Board, supporting its mission to expand educational opportunities through strategic sourcing of Marketing and Professional Services.
- • Day to day, the role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, negotiating contracts, overseeing supplier performance, analyzing spend data, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in Engagement and Reach, Global Policy, Legal, Finance, and GRC to align sourcing with organizational goals.
- • The Strategic Sourcing team at College Board is transforming from transactional procurement to strategic engagement, partnering with leaders across the organization to ensure every dollar spent advances the mission, promotes sustainability, and strengthens operations through data-driven, risk-aware supplier relationships.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in strategic sourcing for high-impact categories like Advertising & Media Buying, Creative Services, Consulting, and Legal Advisory, gain experience with AI-driven procurement tools, and build leadership skills in influencing senior stakeholders and driving measurable cost savings and compliance outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • 4+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, with at least 2 years focused on Marketing & Professional Services (e.g., Advertising & Media Buying, Creative & Content Services, Print & Production, Consulting, Legal & Advisory Services)
- • Demonstrated experience negotiating high-value, complex technology contracts
- • Familiarity with ERP systems, supplier management systems, and contract lifecycle management tools
- • Strong knowledge of Marketing & Professional Services sourcing categories, including suppliers, market trends, and regulatory landscape
- • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic problem-solving skills with ability to deliver data-based insights
