đź“‹ Description

  • • The Associate Principal, Customer Success (Remote) at Availity is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for owning and managing large, complex health plan accounts, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure successful outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle. This role is critical to protecting revenue, driving retention, and identifying expansion opportunities by building trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders and navigating complex, matrixed internal environments to resolve issues and deliver value.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning and managing assigned health plan accounts as the primary customer success liaison; building strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including executive and experienced leaders, through professional and tactful communication; coordinating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Technical Account Management, and other internal teams to shepherd complex issues through resolution, even when direct ownership lies elsewhere; tracking and managing multifaceted client issues to ensure accountability, progress, and timely outcomes; proactively identifying risks and opportunities within assigned accounts to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term success; identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand value and protect recurring revenue through partnerships with internal teams (non-quota carrying); and representing the customer internally to ensure alignment between client needs and organizational priorities, acting as a trusted advocate in cross-functional discussions.
  • • Availity is a mission-driven healthcare technology pioneer headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, with a global presence including an office in Bangalore, India, and a robust remote workforce across the United States. The company connects over 2 million providers to health plans and processes over 12 billion transactions annually, positioning itself as the leading healthcare engagement platform dedicated to bringing focus back to patient care by solving communication challenges and empowering the nation’s premier healthcare ecosystem through innovation, collaboration, and a culture where every contribution is valued.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare payer dynamics and enterprise account management within a high-stakes, innovative environment. You will sharpen your ability to influence without authority, navigate ambiguity, manage executive-level escalations, and drive strategic outcomes across complex organizations—skills that are transferable and highly valued in senior leadership roles. You’ll also gain exposure to cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions and contribute directly to revenue protection and growth initiatives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor both internally and with clients.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience managing enterprise or complex customer accounts in healthcare, healthcare technology, or a related environment.
  • • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with experienced and executive-level stakeholders.
  • • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes through influence rather than authority.
  • • Comfort handling escalations and facilitating resolution across multiple internal teams.
  • • Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • • Healthcare industry experience preferred; strong soft skills and leadership presence are critical.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary with bonus structure and generous HSA company contribution.
  • • Comprehensive healthcare, vision, and dental benefits, plus a 401k match program available from day one.
  • • Unlimited PTO for salaried associates plus 9 paid holidays.
  • • Education reimbursement and wellness reimbursement (up to $250/year for gym memberships, racing events, weight management programs, etc.).
  • • Paid parental leave for birth and adoptive parents, both moms and dads.
  • • Casual dress code (jeans welcome) and access to culture teams, Young Professionals Group, and pop-up lunches (when near Jacksonville).
