- • The Associate Principal Solution Architect at Red Hat will drive incremental revenue by aligning technical solutions with the strategic needs of telecommunications customers, serving as a trusted advisor in complex, high-stakes environments where deep technical expertise and executive engagement are critical to success.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include evangelizing Red Hat solutions, defining and demonstrating end-to-end architectures for 5G, NFV, edge, and cloud environments, leading technical responses to RFx processes, designing value-driven solutions with clear ROI, collaborating with account executives and ecosystem partners, maintaining and growing customer relationships, contributing to account strategy, and acting as a role model for inclusive leadership within Red Hat’s open organization culture.
- • The Telco sales organization at Red Hat is a global, customer-focused team dedicated to enabling telecommunications providers to modernize their infrastructure through open hybrid cloud technologies, working closely with partners, ISVs, NEPs, and hardware vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support 5G, IoT, and edge use cases.
- • In this role, the candidate will deepen their expertise in telco-specific technologies such as 5G RAN, NFV, SDN, and edge computing while honing executive presentation skills, influencing C-level decision-makers, and shaping go-to-market strategies that bridge Red Hat’s open source portfolio with partner ecosystems to drive measurable business outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with specialization in cloud, networking, or telecommunications
- • Proven experience in technical selling and solution architecture within the telecommunications industry, including deep knowledge of 5G, NFV, SDN, cloud, virtualization, container platforms, and microservices
- • Demonstrated ability to design, present, and defend complex end-to-end solutions involving Red Hat and partner products to both technical and executive audiences
