- • As an Associate Product Manager at Allstate Identity Protection (AIP), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our core identity protection products, including credit monitoring, financial identity monitoring, and foundational subscriber value services. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance the products that millions rely on to safeguard their financial identity, working collaboratively with senior product leaders across the organization.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure AIP’s core identity services continuously evolve and deliver maximum value to our subscribers. You will be instrumental in managing and optimizing key monitoring features, identifying strategic opportunities for enhancement, and ensuring all product decisions are firmly grounded in measurable outcomes and demonstrable business value.
- • A key focus of this role is the optimization and evolution of our core identity products. You will be tasked with enhancing and refining credit monitoring, financial identity monitoring, and related services to ensure subscribers consistently receive tangible value. This involves proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen product performance, reduce user friction, and elevate the overall user experience, making our services more intuitive and effective.
- • You will also manage the product roadmap for our core identity services. This includes maintaining and coordinating the roadmap across various identity-related products, collaborating closely with senior Product Managers to strategically sequence enhancements, align priorities with overarching business goals, and translate high-level strategy into concrete, actionable work items for development teams.
- • Identifying outcome-driven improvement opportunities is crucial. You will proactively surface optimization opportunities that are directly aligned with AIP’s desired subscriber outcomes. This requires a deep dive into product metrics, user feedback analysis, and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to inform data-driven recommendations.
- • Delivering measurable business value is at the heart of this role. You will define clear success metrics for all enhancements, new capabilities, and operational improvements. Subsequently, you will track, measure, and effectively communicate the impact of all shipped features and improvements to stakeholders, demonstrating the tangible return on investment.
- • Developing clear, insight-driven business cases will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will build concise and compelling business cases to justify proposed enhancements, new capabilities, or even the sunsetting of lower-value features. This involves clearly articulating customer value, business value, potential ROI, and the strategic rationale for prioritization decisions.
- • You will support the full product lifecycle delivery, assisting with the planning, scoping, validation, and successful launch of new features or product changes. This also extends to supporting end-of-life decisions for outdated or underperforming capabilities. You will partner effectively with engineering, design, customer experience (CX), and analytics teams to ensure seamless execution throughout the product development process.
- • Demonstrating strong product thinking is essential. You will apply systems thinking to understand the intricate interactions between various identity services across different platforms and customer touchpoints. A constant focus on delivering outcomes and business value, rather than simply chasing new features, is paramount. You will embrace a mindset of continuous learning, iteration, and thoughtful problem-solving.
- • In terms of Product Strategy, you will contribute to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our identity-based products, supporting the delivery of initiatives from initial ideation through to market launch. You will also conduct SWOT analyses and help maintain strong relationships with key partners.
- • For Market & Customer Insights, you will conduct thorough market, user, and stakeholder research to inform roadmap decisions and priorities. You will translate these insights into clear business value propositions using tools like lean canvases and business cases.
- • In Product Planning & Delivery, you will define detailed product requirements, user experiences, and functionality. You will prioritize enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value. Maintaining roadmap timelines and coordinating feature releases with cross-functional teams will be key. You will also track product metrics and user outcomes to guide future strategy.
- • Finally, as a Product Evangelist, you will communicate product value both internally and externally through demos, presentations, and collateral. You will support users and stakeholders in understanding the full capabilities of our products.
