- • As an Associate Product Manager at Hootsuite, you will support product management across the full lifecycle—from discovery and research to post-launch activities—with a focus on Identity & User Management and Billing areas, helping ensure cohesive user experiences and successful product delivery.
- • Day to day, you will assist in customer research and discovery initiatives, review and groom the product backlog, participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement with engineering teams, help remove blockers and manage dependencies, analyze performance metrics, and support communication of product initiatives to marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- • You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and product marketing to understand user experience principles, go-to-market strategies, and agile delivery best practices, while contributing to documentation, roadmaps, and stakeholder communications.
- • In this role, you will learn and apply product planning, prioritization, and execution frameworks, gain hands-on experience with agile development processes, and build expertise in analyzing product performance through adoption funnels for mobile and SaaS products, positioning you for growth in a software product management career.
🎯 Requirements
- • A post-secondary degree in computer science, business, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- • 2-5 years of experience in analytics, growth, technology, consulting, or a related field.
- • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
- • Understanding of or keen interest in identity protocols like OAuth2 or SAML, and comfort navigating global billing systems and subscription lifecycles.
- • Interest in building a career in software product management with a keen interest in technology products.
- • Strong collaboration, communication, priority setting, resilience, adaptability, and commitment to results and self-development.
