As Associate Product Manager, Wealth Management, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of market-leading review and continuing-education products that help financial professionals earn and maintain the credentials that move their careers—and the industry—forward.
• Drive strategic planning and product development by translating customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and performance data into actionable roadmaps. You will synthesize survey results, NPS scores, usage analytics, and regulatory updates to prioritize enhancements that increase learner pass rates, reduce time-to-certification, and expand addressable market share.
• Serve as the connective tissue between product, sales, marketing, student support, regulatory, and technology teams. You will orchestrate cross-functional stand-ups, write crisp user stories, and maintain living documentation so every stakeholder understands release scope, go-to-market timing, and success metrics.
• Own revenue performance for your portfolio. Monitor daily dashboards, investigate anomalies, and partner with sales enablement to craft campaigns that accelerate pipeline velocity. When customer issues surface, you will lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions that protect renewal rates and Net Revenue Retention.
• Author and refine Product Specification Files (PSFs) that guide content authors, instructional designers, and engineers through build, test, and release phases. Your meticulous specs will ensure every learning objective, assessment item, and multimedia asset aligns with the latest CFP Board, FINRA, or state insurance requirements.
• Guarantee flawless delivery of instructor-facing content to Kaplan’s proprietary LMS and Business Development System (BDS). You will perform rigorous functionality reviews, validate SCORM packages, and confirm adaptive learning paths render correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices before any code hits production.
• Conduct pre-release QA for public product launches and partner with the KPE Class Coordinator to validate private and university-branded class instances. Your sign-off ensures students experience seamless navigation, accurate progress tracking, and timely certificate issuance.
• Troubleshoot and triage LMS and BDS issues reported by learners, faculty, or internal teams. You will reproduce bugs, escalate to engineering with concise reproduction steps, and communicate resolution timelines to maintain trust and minimize disruption.
• Champion continuous improvement by maintaining a prioritized backlog of defects, feature requests, and technical debt. You will facilitate sprint retrospectives, measure velocity, and implement process tweaks that shorten cycle time without compromising quality.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation by piloting emerging technologies such as AI-driven personalized study plans, interactive video coaching, and micro-credential stacking. Your experiments will inform Kaplan’s long-term product strategy and keep our Wealth Management offerings at the forefront of adult learning science.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (General Studies, Business, Education, Finance, or related field) plus 6+ years of experience in product management, customer service, technical support, or IT within an education, financial services, or SaaS environment
• Proven proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and comfort navigating complex content-authoring tools; experience with SCORM, xAPI, or similar e-learning standards strongly preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills—especially Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for stakeholder storytelling—and the ability to quickly master Kaplan’s internal BDS and ticketing systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, product-first mindset
