📋 Description
- • The Associate Scientific Director (ASD) ensures all medical communications content is evidence-based, of the highest editorial quality, aligned with client strategic objectives, and translates science into clinical benefit. This role is critical in delivering strategic scientific and medical communication solutions for major pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include writing, reviewing, and providing feedback on content developed by medical writers, editors, and graphic artists; analyzing complex medical documents; mentoring junior team members; leading discussions with authors and clients; maintaining current knowledge of therapeutic areas through literature searches; attending medical conferences; managing timelines and regulatory review processes; overseeing consistency across client teams; assisting in advisory board design; and supporting business development through new client identification and pitch participation.
