- • As an Associate in SOC Assessment at Coalfire Systems Inc., you will play a critical role in evaluating the security and compliance posture of client organizations, particularly hyperscale cloud providers, against regulatory standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, C5, and DSA. Your work directly contributes to helping organizations strengthen their security controls and meet compliance obligations in an evolving threat landscape.
- • Day to day, you will assess the design and effectiveness of technology controls across client business cycles, perform audit and assessment activities aligned with industry frameworks, gather and analyze evidence, identify control gaps, and support the preparation of detailed assessment reports. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Directors, and delivery team members to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
- • You will join a team of cybersecurity experts and consultants who are passionate problem-solvers dedicated to making the digital world safer. Coalfire is a trusted advisor in cybersecurity, known for its thought leadership and technical depth, with a global presence and a strong UK footprint, including an office in Manchester offering hybrid work flexibility.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in SOC and cloud security assessments, build proficiency in interpreting complex compliance frameworks, enhance your analytical and reporting skills, and gain hands-on experience working with hyperscale environments—positioning you for growth in cybersecurity assurance, risk management, or advisory careers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Understanding of SOC 1, SOC 2, C5, or DSA assessment frameworks
- • Ability to evaluate technology controls and identify control gaps
- • Experience performing audit or assessment activities in a professional services environment
- • Strong analytical and documentation skills for preparing assessment reports
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and delivery teams
- • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland)
