- • Join the Facets Integration and Development team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee to build and support applications that directly enhance the claims processing pipeline and increase first-pass claims approval rates.
- • Develop, modify, and maintain C# and SQL Server-based extensions, batch jobs, and APIs that integrate with the Facets claims platform and external vendor systems.
- • Contribute to the optimization of system functionality by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, subroutines, and scripts to meet functional requirements including capacity, response time, and system performance.
- • Participate in Agile/Scrum practices to deliver iterative software improvements and collaborate closely with a small, high-performing team.
- • Respond to system failures and performance issues by implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence.
- • Gain exposure to Angular for front-end enhancements and modern development tooling, including AI-assisted tools like Copilot to improve coding efficiency.
- • Maintain and expand technical proficiency in software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, and utilities relevant to assigned systems.
- • Support on-call rotation after approximately 6–10 months of onboarding, providing 24/7 coverage for one week every six weeks.
- • Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and stakeholders regarding progress, blockers, and technical ideas to ensure alignment across applications.
- • Contribute to system documentation and may deliver presentations to end users to enhance their understanding and utilization of developed systems.
- • Work remotely from home as a full-time employee, with EST hours expected and limited flexibility in scheduling.
- • Final round of interviews will be conducted in person at the Chattanooga, TN office.
