Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Nagarro as an Associate Staff Engineer for IBM ODM and become the trusted guardian of mission-critical pharmacovigilance systems that safeguard global patient health. In this high-impact, fully-remote role you will operate at the intersection of life-science regulation and cutting-edge SaaS technology, ensuring that every adverse-event report, every ICSR lifecycle step, and every regulatory submission runs flawlessly on platforms trusted by the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
  • • Own day-to-day HaloPV and Argus Safety administration with end-to-end accountability for system health, user access governance, and configuration integrity. You will execute approved SOPs and Work Instructions with surgical precision, provisioning new users, modifying roles, and deactivating accounts in lock-step with stringent access-control policies. Your meticulous attention to detail will directly reduce audit findings and strengthen the client’s compliance posture.
  • • Provide white-glove Level 1 support via ServiceNow, acting as the first line of defense for more than 500 global end-users. You will triage incidents, perform root-cause data validation using SQL and PL-SQL scripts, collect logs, and coordinate escalations to L2/L3 teams. Every ticket you touch will be resolved faster, documented clearer, and closed with evidence that satisfies both ITIL best practices and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
  • • Contribute to controlled workflow and configuration changes under the guidance of senior architects. Whether you are adjusting a business rule in IBM ODM, updating a pick-list value, or deploying a new safety report template, your work will undergo rigorous validation and will be backed by exhaustive documentation that auditors praise.
  • • Generate and maintain operational run-books, knowledge-base articles, and training materials that reduce mean-time-to-repair (MTTR) by 30 %. Your documentation will become the single source of truth for new team members and for regulatory inspectors who demand traceability at a moment’s notice.
  • • Partner with cross-functional teams—Safety Scientists, Data Managers, QA Validation, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure—to ensure that every system change aligns with pharmacovigilance strategy and regulatory timelines. Your communication skills will turn complex technical updates into concise, business-friendly briefings that keep stakeholders aligned.
  • • Participate in system validation projects, executing test scripts, capturing evidence, and preparing audit artifacts that satisfy EMA, FDA, and MHRA standards. Your fingerprints will be on every validation pack that passes regulatory scrutiny without a single critical finding.
  • • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing ticket trends, proposing automation scripts, and championing process enhancements that save hundreds of staff hours per quarter. Your innovations will be celebrated in quarterly town-halls and will directly influence the product roadmap of Nagarro’s pharmacovigilance practice.
  • • Embrace a culture of relentless learning through Nagarro University certifications, client-sponsored training, and global tech-talks. You will grow from a deep technical expert into a strategic advisor who shapes how life-saving medicines reach patients faster and safer.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years total IT experience with demonstrable hands-on administration of pharmacovigilance systems (HaloPV, Argus Safety, or equivalent SaaS platforms)
  • • Proven track record supporting ICSR lifecycle processes in a regulated GxP environment
  • • Working proficiency in SQL and PL-SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and basic scripting
  • • Experience with ITSM tools—ServiceNow preferred—for incident, problem, and change management
  • • Nice-to-have: IBM ODM rule-engine configuration, 21 CFR Part 11 validation exposure, ITIL Foundation certification

🏖️ Benefits

  • • 100 % remote-first culture with flexible hours and no location constraints
  • • Annual learning stipend of USD 2,000 plus unlimited access to Nagarro University courses
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and eligible dependents from day one
  • • Generous PTO policy: 25 days paid vacation plus 10 floating holidays and paid volunteer days
  • • Performance-linked bonus and fast-track promotion path to Principal Engineer within 24 months
