- • The Associate Vice President, Clinical Services leads clinical content development and provides strategic direction for a subset of teams and initiatives within the market access practice area at Precision AQ, a top payer marketing agency supporting global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients in demonstrating the value of medical treatments to payers, providers, patients, and policymakers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing content development for 5–7 assigned accounts, independently leading key department initiatives such as onboarding and innovation, mediating and resolving escalated stakeholder issues, acting as medical lead in brand planning and tactical plan creation, ensuring Clinical Services SOPs are developed and maintained, allocating resources across accounts, providing performance feedback and coaching to direct and indirect reports (6+ team members including at least 1 Senior Medical Director or 2+ Medical Directors), and upholding Precision AQ’s PRECISION Principles.
- • The team operates within Precision Medicine Group’s Precision AQ division, which specializes in market access and commercial excellence through evidence generation, analysis, and communication to improve patient care globally. The role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients in a solutions-oriented, values-driven environment.
- • The individual will develop leadership and strategic influence in clinical services, deepen expertise in pharmaceutical and managed markets strategy, mentor and grow a high-performing team, drive innovation in content development, and contribute to business development and client strategy initiatives while ensuring compliance with AMA style and proficiency in scientific literature evaluation and presentation tools.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS in life sciences OR BA/BS in English with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising
- • Minimum 9 years of experience in medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry
- • Managed markets promotional content development experience
- • Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style
- • Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- • Strong proficiency with scientific search engines including PubMed and Google Scholar
