- • As an Underwriting Consultant at Pacific Life Insurance Company, you will play a key role in evaluating insurance applicants and determining risk to support the company’s growth and long-term success in the Consumer Markets Division.
- • Day to day, you will review upfront underwriting data and tools, handle additional underwriting requirements by determining value and ordering reviews, finalize cases, enter medical history into system workbenches, and ensure dependability, organization, and sound judgment while meeting productivity, quality, and performance standards.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7-10+ years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience with proven proficiency in underwriting processes and philosophies
- • Ability to handle advanced decision level authorities without a co-signature (1 Million or higher)
- • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events
- • Ability to interpret meaning of information for others; translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used
- • Ability to develop specific goals, plan, and prioritize work
