- ⢠Site Overview: Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is GE Aerospaceās multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Pushing the boundaries of innovation every day, engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.
- ⢠Role Overview: Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc.. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services. Responsible for Intercompany Elimination Process (ICP). Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution
- ⢠5+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, or internal audit
- ⢠CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification
