- • As an Auditor, Zero Balance at CorroHealth, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate healthcare reimbursement by identifying underpaid inpatient claims and improving financial outcomes for clients through detailed contract and claims analysis.
- • Day to day, you will create and update audit plans based on hospital-payer contracts, model pricing documents to calculate expected payments, review insurance payments against contractual and regulatory sources, conduct zero-balance account reviews to detect underpayments, and collaborate with data analysts to validate pricing models.
- • CorroHealth is a remote-first healthcare reimbursement solutions provider dedicated to helping clients exceed their financial health goals through scalable technology, clinical expertise, and data-driven analytics across the reimbursement cycle.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare contract modeling, reimbursement methodologies (including MSDRG, per diems, and outlier policies), and claims analysis while contributing to process improvements and building a knowledge base that supports both internal teams and external clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or equivalent required
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with large sets of healthcare data
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience in research and analysis
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience with managed care contracts (government and commercial) and hospital reimbursement
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with inpatient claims
- • Minimum of 1 year of experience with contract modeling
- • Basic Excel skills, including knowledge of simple formulas (SUM, AVERAGE), basic pivot tables and ability to filter and sort data sets
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to translate complex contract language and healthcare data into actionable information and insights
- • Ability to work independently to solve problems and recommend technical solutions
- • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
