• • A Senior Phlebotomist at Natera, Inc. plays a critical role in supporting patient care by ensuring accurate and safe blood specimen collection, which is essential for diagnostic testing in oncology, women’s health, and organ health.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying test requisitions and patient identification, performing venipunctures and finger sticks, maintaining specimen integrity through aseptic technique, tracking specimen collection with proper labeling and timing, recording quality control results, resolving discrepancies in test orders, managing PHI in both paper and electronic formats, completing required HIPAA and security trainings within 30 days, handling logistical tasks such as printing patient reports, answering billing inquiries, and scheduling courier pickups with FedEx or Medspeed.
