Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end design and continuous refinement of EvolutionIQ’s Auto Liability and General Liability claims models, translating 10+ years of carrier-side expertise into AI-driven guidance that helps adjusters close claims 30-40 % faster while improving indemnity accuracy by double-digit percentages.
  • • Serve as the primary authority on liability determination, comparative negligence, coverage triggers, and statutory compliance across all 50 states, ensuring every algorithmic recommendation aligns with jurisdictional nuances and carrier-specific guidelines.
  • • Partner daily with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to annotate tens of thousands of historical claim files, turning unstructured adjuster notes, medical records, police reports, and legal correspondence into high-signal training data that powers our predictive models.
  • • Lead interactive workshops and office hours for adjusters, supervisors, and carrier executives, distilling complex liability scenarios into clear, actionable playbooks that frontline staff can apply within minutes of opening a new claim.
  • • Translate courtroom and mediation outcomes into model feedback loops, ensuring that lessons learned from high-exposure verdicts are systematically captured and reflected in future claim triage and reserving recommendations.
  • • Collaborate with our customer success team to configure carrier-specific rule sets, coverage forms, and special investigative unit (SIU) triggers, enabling seamless onboarding of new carrier partners in under 90 days.
  • • Spearhead quarterly liability-focused product road-mapping sessions, prioritizing feature enhancements such as automated ISO claims search, subrogation propensity scoring, and litigation likelihood indicators based on real-time adjuster feedback and loss-ratio impact.
  • • Act as the voice of the customer during sprint reviews, ensuring that every user story reflects the nuanced realities of bodily injury, property damage, personal advertising injury, and completed operations exposures.
  • • Develop and maintain a living knowledge base of emerging liability trends—think autonomous vehicle subrogation, social inflation drivers, and nuclear verdict mitigation strategies—that keeps our models and our carrier partners ahead of the market curve.
  • • Mentor junior claims analysts and data scientists, accelerating their understanding of tort law, policy language, and claim negotiation tactics so that the entire organization levels up together.
  • • Present thought-leadership content at industry conferences, webinars, and carrier advisory boards, positioning EvolutionIQ as the definitive authority on AI-driven liability claims management.
  • • Continuously monitor regulatory and case-law developments, updating model logic and user guidance within days—not months—of a landmark decision or statutory change.
  • • Champion a culture of ethical AI, ensuring that our recommendations remain transparent, auditable, and free from unintended bias that could disadvantage claimants or carriers.
  • • Own KPIs tied to loss-ratio improvement, claim-cycle-time reduction, and adjuster NPS, reporting progress to the executive team and iterating rapidly when metrics slip.
  • • Work fully remote with quarterly on-site summits in New York or San Francisco, collaborating face-to-face with cross-functional leaders to set the strategic direction for the next product release.
