- • As an Automation Engineer at PawChamp, you will serve as the technical engine driving the marketing technology infrastructure, building internal MarTech systems that replace manual processes with automation, transform raw data into business insights, and accelerate time-to-market for new campaigns—directly enabling marketing, design, and user acquisition teams to achieve 10x results.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing end-to-end MarTech solutions, constructing ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform marketing data from Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads into analytics systems, integrating Generative AI via OpenAPI and other LLM services to automate creative generation from hours to minutes, automating routine operations such as campaign bulk actions, validation checks, and synchronization, maintaining production systems through CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting on GCP, and collaborating with the team to propose and implement architectural improvements that scale with PawChamp’s global expansion across 8+ markets.
- • You will join a mission-driven venture builder, Skelar AS, which has built over 10 successful B2C tech companies featured in TechCrunch and Wired, and is now scaling PawChamp—an international IT product helping dog owners build harmonious relationships through training and expert support, recognized as Product of the Day on Product Hunt in 2025 with a 4.8 App Store rating.
- • The team operates with a strong culture of iterative improvement, result-oriented thinking, and technical ownership, where you’ll grow by shaping architecture, solving real-world MarTech challenges at the intersection of Python, AI, and performance marketing, and contributing to a product actively expanding into new global markets.
- • Through this role, you will deepen your expertise in backend engineering, data orchestration, AI integration, and cloud infrastructure while seeing your code directly impact marketing performance and business growth—growing alongside the product and the Skelar Foundation’s humanitarian initiatives supporting Ukraine’s recovery.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience developing backend systems using Python
- • Hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
- • Practical experience with REST APIs and webhooks (experience with Meta, Google, or TikTok Ads APIs is a nice-to-have)
- • Understanding of ETL/ELT pipeline principles
- • Basic experience with CI/CD and production monitoring
- • Ability to work iteratively: build → test → improve
- • Result-oriented mindset: ability to distinguish priorities and focus on real business impact
