  • • As an Automation Sales Specialist at Red Hat, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform within the North America Public Sector. This pivotal role involves engaging with prospective and existing customers to understand their unique challenges and effectively articulate how Red Hat's innovative automation solutions can address them.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing new strategic sales opportunities, leveraging your deep understanding of customer needs to create compelling proposals and presentations. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding customers through the business value, competitive positioning, and future roadmap of Red Hat's offerings.
  • • A key responsibility will be to maintain an in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of Red Hat's automation products, including their features, recent updates, and successful customer use cases. This knowledge extends to understanding the broader Red Hat portfolio to identify synergistic opportunities.
  • • You will also act as a knowledge resource for account teams, enabling them with current sales "Plays," industry-specific use cases, solution blueprints, and effective sales strategies related to automation.
  • • Forecasting accuracy for relevant products, services, and training will be a critical aspect of your role, requiring you to provide insightful advisories based on market trends and customer engagement.
  • • Your strategic thinking will be vital in guiding sales strategies, informed by a profound understanding of the public sector market and automation technologies. You will be expected to position tailored solutions, encompassing subscriptions, services, and partner integrations, that directly solve customer problems and enhance their operational efficiency.
  • • Beyond the initial sale, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion by identifying opportunities to scale automation initiatives and introduce complementary Red Hat products.
  • • Collaboration with the Customer Success team will be essential to ensure the successful delivery of the proposed business value and solutions, fostering long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • • You will lead critical customer presentations and sessions, adeptly translating complex technical capabilities into tangible business benefits and demonstrating the return on investment (ROI) of automation.
  • • This role demands a "challenger mentality," where you proactively identify customer pain points and offer innovative solutions, demonstrating persuasiveness and a deep understanding of their business objectives.
