- • As an Autonomous Vehicle Business Development Manager at Lyft, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of autonomous mobility by supporting the origination and advancement of strategic partnerships with leading AV technology providers, OEMs, and fleet operators.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing the AV partner pipeline by scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, drafting LOIs and MOUs, tracking deal progress, and collaborating with corporate development, strategy, finance, and legal teams to accelerate investment decisions.
- • You will join a highly collaborative, fast-paced team at Lyft focused on becoming the preferred marketplace and operational partner for the world’s best AV providers, leveraging Lyft’s platform scale to enable success across the AV value chain.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in the AV, automotive, and mobility ecosystems, gain experience in commercial deal structuring and equity investment processes, and build the capability to independently own and lead partner conversations over time.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in business development, strategy, or a similar commercial role
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active workstreams simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare high-quality materials for senior internal and external audiences
- • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable working across strategy, finance, legal, and operations teams
- • Genuine intellectual curiosity about the AV industry and appetite to develop expertise in a fast-moving space
- • Familiarity with commercial document drafting — LOIs, MOUs, or term sheets — is a plus
