- • The AVP, Analytics - Data Governance (L11) role at Synchrony Financial leads a team responsible for executing key elements of the company’s Consumer Privacy and Data Governance programs, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and supporting enterprise-wide data literacy and governance initiatives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and developing a high-performing Data Governance team, owning PII discovery operations and policy governance, establishing performance metrics, supporting the Consumer Rights Program, overseeing Outbound Data Share governance, and driving enterprise data literacy through training and stakeholder enablement.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and minimum 6+ years of relevant Data Management experience
- • Minimum 4+ years of experience with Data Management / Data Governance practices in banking or financial services
- • Minimum 2+ years of people leadership experience, including performance management, coaching, and team delivery oversight
- • Knowledge of Data Privacy laws and regulations (CPRA, GDPR)
