  • • The AVP Risk Employee Benefits role at Direct Travel, Inc. (Voya Financial) is a senior leadership position responsible for driving operational risk management strategy and execution to support the company’s mission of expanding financial opportunity for all.
  • • Day to day, the individual will lead and coach a team of operational risk analysts, conduct risk assessments, develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs/KPIs), advise business units on risk-reward trade-offs, and present findings to senior leadership and risk committees.

  • • In this role, the person will deepen expertise in enterprise risk management, strengthen leadership and influence skills, and contribute to shaping Voya’s risk governance framework while supporting strategic business initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or finance-related control functions
  • • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, or MBA preferred
  • • Professional designation such as CRM or CFA is a plus
  • • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with proven experience leading technical teams
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) for creating executive-level presentations
  • • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, manage competing priorities, and drive risk mitigation initiatives
