- • Architect and deliver end-to-end Azure data and AI ecosystems that power Ultradent’s global analytics and innovation initiatives, translating raw structured and unstructured data into trusted, high-value datasets that drive real-time business decisions.
- • Own the creation and continuous optimization of a multi-layered Azure Data Lake (Raw → Bronze → Silver → Gold) and Azure Synapse Analytics data warehouse, ensuring scalable ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns that support both BI dashboards and advanced ML models.
- • Design and govern logical and physical data models, enforce metadata standards, and establish data lineage and quality frameworks so every downstream report, KPI, and AI prediction is traceable, auditable, and reliable.
- • Build resilient, low-latency data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta tables, and Stream Analytics, automating complex ETL/ELT workflows that handle terabytes of dental-market, supply-chain, and customer-experience data with 99.9 % uptime.
- • Develop, train, and deploy machine-learning models via Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Studio, implementing full MLOps lifecycles—including automated retraining, A/B testing, and blue-green deployment to AKS Managed Endpoints—to keep predictive services accurate and performant.
- • Integrate AI outputs into everyday business processes by architecting low-code / no-code automation workflows in n8n, Power Automate, or Apache Airflow, connecting Cognitive Services, custom models, and third-party APIs through secure REST endpoints and webhooks.
- • Provide thought leadership in cloud data engineering and AI best practices, conducting architecture reviews, setting design standards, and mentoring junior engineers to elevate the entire Data & Analytics team’s technical capability.
- • Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and R&D to translate ambiguous “why” questions into crisp analytical hypotheses, then rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions that uncover growth opportunities and cost savings.
- • Champion data governance, privacy, and security policies, embedding encryption, role-based access, and compliance checks into every layer of the Azure stack to safeguard sensitive patient and proprietary information.
- • Continuously evaluate emerging Azure services—such as Microsoft Fabric, Purview, or new Cognitive Services APIs—and pilot them in controlled sandboxes, producing ROI-backed recommendations for enterprise adoption.
- • Monitor pipeline health, model drift, and cost metrics through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and custom dashboards, instituting proactive alerting and auto-scaling strategies that balance performance with fiscal responsibility.
- • Collaborate with the Manager–Data Administration to align engineering roadmaps with corporate OKRs, ensuring every sprint delivers measurable impact on revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- • Document architectural decisions, data dictionaries, and run-books in Azure DevOps Wiki and Confluence, fostering a culture of transparency and knowledge sharing that reduces onboarding time and incident response.
- • Lead incident post-mortems and root-cause analyses for data or model failures, translating lessons learned into resilient design patterns and automated regression tests.
- • Present findings and technical strategies to executive audiences through clear visualizations in Power BI, translating complex engineering concepts into compelling narratives that secure continued investment in data and AI capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure data solutions: Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, Delta tables, and SQL Pools.
- • Proven track record building production-grade ML models and MLOps pipelines using Azure Machine Learning or Azure AI Studio, including CI/CD via Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- • Expert-level T-SQL scripting, Python, and Spark; comfortable authoring stored procedures, notebooks, and complex data transformations at scale.
- • Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and real-time streaming patterns; able to architect both batch and low-latency ingestion strategies.
- • Demonstrated success automating business workflows with n8n, Power Automate, or similar low-code platforms, integrating REST APIs and securing OAuth connections.
