📋 Description
- • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure to support AI-driven SaaS platforms.
- • Automate deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices such as Terraform and ARM templates.
- • Monitor system performance and reliability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other observability tools to ensure high availability and SLA compliance.
- • Collaborate with development and product teams to streamline release cycles, reduce deployment failures, and improve mean time to recovery (MTTR).
- • Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring secure and efficient orchestration.
- • Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud environments, including network policies, identity management via Azure AD, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- • Respond to production incidents in a timely manner, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize recurrence.
- • Optimize cloud resource usage and costs through monitoring, rightsizing, and automation of scaling policies.
- • Document infrastructure configurations, operational procedures, and incident response playbooks for team knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
- • Work remotely with cross-functional teams across the United States and Europe, participating in agile ceremonies and asynchronous communication workflows.
- • Stay current with emerging DevOps and cloud technologies, particularly in AI/ML infrastructure, and recommend improvements to enhance platform resilience and efficiency.
- • Support the onboarding of new engineering teams by establishing standardized cloud environments and deployment workflows.
- • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for critical production systems, ensuring rapid response to outages or performance degradation.
- • Translate business requirements into technical infrastructure solutions that align with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps culture by promoting automation, collaboration, and blameless postmortems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- • Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
- • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or similar tools
- • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks
- • Demonstrated ability to work in a remote, cross-time-zone environment with English-speaking teams
