📋 Description

• As a Back-End Developer at SmartBug Media, you will be at the forefront of innovation, architecting and implementing robust server-side solutions that are integral to our clients' success within the dynamic HubSpot ecosystem.
• You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated server-side systems that power custom integrations, complex data flows, and advanced automation strategies.
• Your expertise will be crucial in developing scalable and resilient architectures that seamlessly connect HubSpot with a diverse range of third-party platforms, internal systems, and proprietary databases, ensuring the reliable, secure, and high-performance exchange of critical business data.
• This role demands a deep understanding of back-end development principles, API design, and data management, coupled with a strategic mindset to anticipate future needs and build solutions that are not only functional today but also adaptable for tomorrow's challenges.
• You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of integration strategists, marketing strategists, CRM specialists, and other developers to translate complex business requirements into elegant and efficient technical solutions.

• You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• This includes defining technical specifications, creating database schemas, developing APIs, and writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• You will ensure that all developed solutions are scalable, secure, and performant, meeting the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fully remote team is essential.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in back-end development, with a strong understanding of server-side languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, PHP, Ruby) and frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs, and experience with data serialization formats like JSON.
• Solid understanding of database design, management, and querying (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deploying applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
