📋 Description

• Design and implement complex, multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and migration in production-like environments
• Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding challenges and expected outcomes for AI training datasets
• Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness
• Create reference implementations that serve as authoritative examples for AI model training, ensuring alignment with specifications and expected behaviors
• Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and educational value, identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential failure modes
• Ensure consistency between task specifications, reference code, and test outcomes to maintain high-quality training data for AI systems
• Navigate and debug large, complex codebases across multiple languages and architectures to produce realistic software engineering scenarios
• Participate in structured code reviews of submissions from other contributors, providing actionable feedback on code quality, architecture, and adherence to requirements
• Independently manage project timelines and deliverables within a part-time, project-based engagement model with flexible scheduling
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI training datasets by identifying gaps in task realism, test coverage, and documentation clarity
• Maintain professional written communication in English to produce accurate, well-structured technical specifications and review comments
• Work remotely with no fixed hours, using your own tools and infrastructure to complete assigned tasks on a per-project basis
• Collaborate with a global network of expert contributors while retaining the freedom to engage with other vendors or employers, subject to their respective policies
• Focus exclusively on creating and evaluating realistic software engineering tasks used to train and evaluate large language models for code generation
• Ensure all outputs meet production-grade standards, with attention to maintainability, scalability, and edge-case handling
• Translate abstract software engineering problems into concrete, measurable tasks that challenge AI models effectively

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
• Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
• Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
