Full Job Description

📋 Description

• Design and implement complex, multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and migration within production-like software systems
• Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding tasks and outline expected behaviors for software engineering scenarios
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites using industry-standard frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge case handling
• Create realistic, production-grade reference implementations in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or optionally Java, C#, or Go to serve as benchmarks for peer evaluations
• Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specified requirements
• Identify ambiguities, edge cases, potential failure modes, and inconsistencies between specifications, code, and expected outputs
• Ensure complete and accurate validation artifacts accompany each coding task, including test coverage reports and pass/fail conditions
• Participate in structured peer review processes to assess the quality and accuracy of submissions from other contributors
• Maintain high standards for code quality, readability, and maintainability across all generated tasks and reference implementations
• Navigate and debug large, complex multi-file codebases to simulate real-world software engineering challenges
• Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of AI trainers and engineers to refine the realism and difficulty of coding evaluations used in AI model training
• Manage independent work schedules and deliver project-based tasks on time without direct supervision
• Use own tools, hardware, and development environments to complete assigned tasks with no equipment provided by the company
• Work on a project-by-project basis with no guaranteed ongoing workload or fixed hours
• Contribute to evolving AI training datasets by generating high-fidelity software engineering scenarios that improve model reasoning and coding capabilities
• Ensure all outputs meet strict quality thresholds for use in training advanced AI systems to understand and generate professional-grade code
• Maintain professional written proficiency in English at an advanced level for clear documentation, feedback, and specification writing
• Adhere to confidentiality and intellectual property guidelines when handling proprietary coding patterns and evaluation frameworks
• Operate as an independent contractor; may simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided those arrangements do not conflict with project requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
• Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
• Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
