• • The platform you’ll be working on is extensive and intricate, encompassing a modern checkout experience, customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), comprehensive donor and organization portals, powerful admin tools, and various internal applications.
• • You will contribute to the development of massive analytics pipelines, ensuring that data is processed efficiently and accurately to provide valuable insights for our nonprofit partners.
• • A core part of your role will involve writing comprehensive unit tests and actively participating in thorough code reviews, upholding the highest standards of code quality and maintainability.
• • You will proactively identify opportunities for system improvements, including the strategic refactoring of legacy code, to ensure our technology remains at the forefront of the industry.
• • By sharing your expertise and mentoring fellow engineers, you will actively contribute to fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning within our globally distributed team.
• • You will work with a sophisticated tech stack, including Node.js (Koa, NestJS) for the backend, MongoDB for database management, and TypeScript for nearly all code, ensuring type safety and maintainability.
• • For high-throughput messaging and background processing, you will leverage Kafka for millions of events and Bull with Redis for managing asynchronous tasks.
• • You will gain exposure to and work with ClickHouse for storing and analyzing large volumes of analytics data, and Elasticsearch for implementing powerful search functionalities across the platform.
• • This role demands a strong understanding of system design principles, clean architecture, and performance optimization techniques, enabling you to build solutions that are both scalable and efficient.
• • You will be part of a dynamic, remote-first team of over 160 product professionals, including more than 80 engineers, primarily based across Europe and Asia, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
