- • Build and ship backend features in Scribe’s Django monolith, focusing on core document workflows including viewing, editing, embedding, and exporting content
- • Contribute to greenfield projects that expand the capabilities of Scribe’s Workflow AI platform to serve millions of daily users
- • Optimize database queries, API endpoints, and caching layers to improve system performance and reliability in well-scoped areas
- • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver intuitive, scalable, and reliable user experiences
- • Write thoughtful, well-tested code with strong attention to observability, performance, and maintainability
- • Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering continuous technical growth
- • Work within a team that values rapid learning, clear communication, and collective ownership of product quality
- • Engage with a tech stack centered on Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, AmazonMQ, and Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure
- • Contribute to systems that power essential experiences for over 5 million users across 600,000 businesses, including 94% of Fortune 500 companies
- • Operate in a fast-paced startup environment where engineering decisions directly impact product velocity and user success
