📋 Description

• As a Founding Software Engineer at The Flex, you will help architect and scale Base360.ai, the proprietary automation platform powering the company's mission to enable anyone to live anywhere, anytime, without friction.
• You will design and develop scalable applications, services, and APIs that power bookings, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and operations, while building event-driven workflows, AI-powered systems, and integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, and OpenAI.
• The Flex is building the operating system for modern renting, connecting property data, orchestrating operations, and enabling seamless stays across continents through its Base360.ai platform.
• You will own projects end-to-end, solve complex operational problems such as real-time reservation synchronization and dynamic pricing intelligence, and have the opportunity to learn and grow across software, AI, automation, and global scale in a small, high-impact team.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building production-grade software systems
• Experience with FastAPI, Python, React, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving ability and product mindset
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency
