• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle for the SciLeads platform, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions that directly support customer value delivery. You will lead technical vision and execution in close partnership with the VP of Engineering, driving architecture decisions, deployment strategies, and cross-functional alignment to meet evolving business needs in a remote-first environment.
• Manage and optimize data engineering workflows for a database exceeding one billion records, implementing robust practices for data ingestion, transformation, aggregation, and querying to ensure reliability and performance at scale. Your work will directly enable faster, more accurate insights for sales and marketing teams in the scientific sector.
• Lead and mentor intermediate engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaborative problem-solving, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence while promoting psychological safety and inclusive team dynamics in a distributed setting.
• Champion a customer-first mindset by translating user needs into technical solutions, prioritizing features and improvements that deliver measurable value, and maintaining relentless focus on usability, performance, and reliability in every release.

• Grow your expertise in scalable .NET and C# architectures, cloud-native AWS services, Elasticsearch, and AI-integrated platforms while gaining leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS environment — positioning you for advancement into broader technical or engineering leadership roles.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Lead or Senior C# and .NET software development role, with proven ability to design, develop, and maintain production-grade applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data engineering practices, including handling large-scale datasets (1B+ records), optimizing data pipelines, and implementing robust data integration and aggregation solutions.
• Track record of successfully leading at least three complex technical projects from inception to delivery, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Expertise in scalable system design and architecture, particularly within cloud-based environments (AWS preferred), with strong understanding of performance, reliability, and scalability trade-offs.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, with comfort managing multiple concurrent priorities and conveying technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring intermediate engineers and leading technical initiatives in a fully remote team, with awareness of interpersonal dynamics and commitment to inclusive collaboration.
