📋 Description

• A hands-on Backend Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating production backend services within a corporate AWS environment, with a focus on robust API development, secure code, and scalable architecture.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, or C#, implementing authentication and authorization (JWT/OAuth2), managing SQL and NoSQL databases, applying design patterns (Clean Architecture, Layered, Onion), writing unit and integration tests, ensuring input validation and secure logging, and using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) for deployments.
• The company operates under strict corporate governance with automated code quality and security checks before each environment promotion; the parent company audits code, and engineers are expected to internalize best practices from day one.
• The engineer will collaborate with frontend teams (React/Next.js) to ensure backend services are correctly structured for consumption—focusing on clear response contracts, error handling, and integration-ready design—while gaining deep experience in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM) and enterprise-grade backend systems in a regulated, audited environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing production backend APIs using Node.js, Python, or C#
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2), input validation, and error handling
• Practical experience with AWS services in production (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM) and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of clean code principles, separation of concerns, and at least one architectural pattern (Clean, Layered, or Onion)
• Ability to explain technical decisions, debug production incidents, and collaborate effectively with frontend teams on API contracts
• Nice to have: AWS certification, experience in financial or highly regulated industries, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
