📋 Description
- • As a Backend Engineer II – Data Platform at Netomi AI Inc., you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers the company’s agentic AI platform for enterprise customer experience, enabling scalable automation for global brands like Delta Airlines and MetLife.
- • Day to day, you will design, develop, and optimize backend systems for data ingestion, processing, and storage; collaborate with data science, product, engineering, and customer success teams to support complex data analyses; build and maintain data pipelines; ensure data quality and reliability; and contribute to the development of tools and processes that improve product performance and customer insights.
- • You will join the Analytics team in Gurugram (remote work available), working within a fast-growing, innovative AI company backed by Y Combinator, Index Ventures, and WndrCo, where cross-functional collaboration drives product excellence and customer impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable data platforms, gain hands-on experience with modern data engineering technologies, and have the opportunity to influence product direction by turning data insights into actionable improvements that enhance customer experience at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in backend development with experience in Python, Java, or similar languages
- • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- • Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling
- • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data science and product
- • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
