• Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems and APIs that form the backbone of our AI research platform. You will tackle complex technical challenges related to data processing, AI model integration, and real-time communication, ensuring the seamless operation of our services for a growing global user base.
• You will collaborate closely with our AI/ML engineers, frontend developers, and product managers to translate product requirements into technical solutions. This cross-functional teamwork is essential for delivering high-quality features and maintaining a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
• Dive deep into the architecture of our distributed systems, identifying areas for optimization and implementing improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. You will be responsible for ensuring our infrastructure can handle increasing loads and evolving demands.
• Develop and implement robust data pipelines that ingest, process, and store vast amounts of user interview data. This includes working with various data storage solutions and ensuring data integrity and accessibility for AI model training and inference.
• Integrate and optimize the deployment of AI and machine learning models into our production environment. You will work on the infrastructure that enables these models to be accessed efficiently and reliably by our backend services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to best practices in software engineering. Your commitment to code quality will be paramount in maintaining a stable and maintainable codebase.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and incorporating feedback into your own work. This collaborative process is key to elevating our collective technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack, from database performance to API latency. Your problem-solving skills will be critical in maintaining the operational health of our platform.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and services, from initial concept through to deployment and monitoring. You will have a significant impact on the product roadmap and the evolution of our technology.

• Work with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to deploy, manage, and scale our applications. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is highly desirable.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer, with a strong understanding of building and scaling distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
