- • As a Backend Software Engineer at Reacher SAS, you will own and lead product features end-to-end, directly impacting how TikTok Shop brands and creators connect and grow across commerce platforms, with your work influencing users from day one in a high-urgency, AI-native engineering environment.
- • You will design and implement scalable backend systems using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL on GCP, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers in AI-native workflows, and collaborate directly with customers to translate ambiguous requirements into polished, user-centric experiences.
- • Reacher is a Y Combinator-backed AI SaaS platform backed by industry leaders including Steve Huffman (Reddit) and Matteo Franceschetti (Eight Sleep), building the operating system for creator commerce with runway to scale alongside global brands like UnderArmour, Hanes, Logitech, and Goli.
- • The engineering team operates with Claude Code and agentic coding tools as the primary development environment, emphasizing AI-assisted development velocity, architectural ownership, and product-first thinking over traditional ticket-driven workflows.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–6 years of professional full-stack experience at a product-first company or FAANG-level environment, with proven ownership of meaningful end-to-end product modules, infrastructure refactors, or major feature launches.
- • Deep proficiency with Claude Code and AI-native development workflows, including interactive, plan, headless, agent teams, and delegate modes, with recent experience shipping projects where AI coding tools were the primary development environment in the last 90 days.
- • Strong backend expertise in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GCP/cloud infrastructure, and API design (REST/GraphQL), coupled with systems thinking and the ability to judge when to leverage AI versus manual coding for correctness, security, and maintainability.
