  • • Originate, structure, and close generator deals from initial signal to contract signature, focusing on baseload-shaped supply across anaerobic digestion, landfill gas, and energy from waste technologies.
  • • Build and manage a diversified portfolio of generator relationships with developers, IPPs, and aggregators to expand tem’s supply base, increase liquidity, and deepen pricing depth across regions and tenors.
  • • Act as the primary commercial counterpart to asset owners and developers, establishing trusted relationships and representing tem credibly within the renewable generator ecosystem.
  • • Negotiate Heads of Terms and finalize contracts with speed and precision, ensuring alignment on price, risk, term, and route-to-market parameters.
  • • Conduct commercial diligence and maintain rigorous deal hygiene, collecting and validating key asset data, route-to-market inputs, and internal alignment documentation for seamless handoffs to Legal, Ops, and Product teams.
  • • Translate real-time sell-side insights from generator interactions into structured feedback for Pricing, Product, and Strategy teams to refine tem’s offering and stay ahead of market trends.
  • • Proactively manage a data-led pipeline of generator opportunities, tracking asset changes, deal activity, and counterparty preferences to prioritize high-velocity deals and reduce friction in onboarding.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and Product to identify and remove onboarding bottlenecks, ensuring efficient transition from deal closure to delivery.
  • • Maintain an active, well-documented network of developer and asset-owner relationships with consistent communication and clear deal calendars to support sustained deal flow.
  • • Deliver measurable outcomes including originating and qualifying 50+ generator opportunities and securing 10–15 signed contracts within target timelines.
  • • Achieve ≥ 1 TWh of generation under management or in late-stage pipeline across one or more asset classes to strengthen tem’s market position and infrastructure credibility.
  • • Leverage data tooling and automation to scale outreach, manage pricing inputs, and optimize pipeline efficiency without compromising relationship quality.
  • • Contribute to tem’s mission by advancing transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in electricity markets through direct engagement with renewable generators.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience in energy, climate tech or B2B sales in complex, multi-stakeholder deals with renewable generators, developers or asset managers.
  • • Proven ability to source, structure and close new generator deals.
  • • Strong grasp of generator commercial drivers (price, risk, term, route-to-market) with credible value positioning.
  • • Experience with PPAs, flexible products or structured energy deals; able to coordinate with Trading and Legal.
  • • Excellent communicator who collaborates across teams to smooth generator onboarding.
  • • Proactive, collaborative problem-solver with a bias to action and results.
