  • • Lead and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) focused on generating qualified pipeline for Mid-Market/Enterprise and SMB segments in the Italian market.
  • • Own end-to-end pipeline creation metrics including meetings held, SQLs generated, qualified pipeline value (€), coverage, and conversion rates.
  • • Conduct weekly 1:1s, call coaching, deal/account coaching, and skill diagnostics to raise performance standards beyond activity metrics.
  • • Build and refine a repeatable outbound system including ICP definition, messaging frameworks, multi-threading plays, account plans, and sequencing across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • • Ensure operational excellence through accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene QA, dashboarding, and tight feedback loops with Account Executives on lead quality and disposition.
  • • Source, interview, hire, and onboard new BDR talent with a structured ramp plan and clear productivity milestones.
  • • Translate market and customer feedback into actionable inputs for product and marketing teams to improve targeting and messaging.
  • • Coordinate cross-functional campaigns and account-based initiatives to align BDR efforts with broader go-to-market strategy.
  • • Establish a clean, disciplined handoff process from BDR to Account Executive with defined criteria and follow-up protocols.
  • • Run A/B tests on messaging, segments, channels, and sequences to rapidly scale what works and eliminate underperforming tactics.
  • • Foster a high-performance culture characterized by high standards, low ego, high ownership, and truth-driven reporting—no sandbagging or “happy ears.”
  • • Maintain fluency in Spanish and English to effectively lead teams and engage with prospects in the Italian market.
  • • Utilize CRM platforms (Salesforce/HubSpot), sales sequencing tools, and Sales Navigator with strict discipline in data hygiene and reporting.
  • • Drive experimentation and iteration in outbound strategy with data-backed decisions to optimize conversion funnels and pipeline velocity.
  • • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Partnerships teams to align on campaign execution and account targeting strategies.
  • • Monitor and improve team performance through KPIs tied to pipeline generation, not just activity volume.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience leading BDR teams in B2B SaaS with consistent achievement of pipeline targets (not just activity targets)
  • • Demonstrated competence in enterprise/mid-market outbound sales including account-based prospecting, multi-stakeholder mapping, and value-based messaging
  • • Strong coaching ability to diagnose performance gaps (skill, will, territory, messaging) and implement corrective action plans
  • • Fluency in Spanish (native or C1+) and English
  • • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot), sales sequencing tools, and Sales Navigator with strict adherence to data hygiene
  • • Experience designing and optimizing outbound systems with measurable conversion levers and funnel metrics
