- • The Benefit Administration Implementation Manager at WEX Inc. is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of new implementation projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery while maintaining best practices and client satisfaction.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading implementation kick-offs, coordinating with System Support Specialists, EDI developers, and Shared Services teams, facilitating workshops and status meetings, managing project plans and client-facing milestones, and ensuring smooth transition to ongoing service delivery post-implementation.
- • The role operates within WEX’s implementation and delivery organization, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations Leadership, Client Delivery Managers, and Client Directors to drive client retention through strong relationship building and successful project execution.
- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced project management expertise in benefit administration implementations, gain cross-functional leadership experience, and strengthen skills in risk management, stakeholder communication, and client-facing delivery—positioning them for growth into senior implementation or delivery leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- • 5-7 years of experience in project management and benefit administration
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
- • Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining quality and SLA compliance
- • Experience leading workshops, facilitating meetings, and coordinating cross-functional teams including technical and client stakeholders
- • Demonstrated skill in risk identification, issue escalation, and developing contingency plans during implementation projects
